translationexpert.co.uk started as a husband (British) and wife (French) team who now have access to a host of specialist translators who only translate into their mother tongue. All translations are checked in their entirety by the management team before the client receives them.

Paul has a BA Honours Degree in European Business Administration and an equivalent French “Diplôme” from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Reims (one of France’s top Business Schools.) He worked in Reims and Paris for 4 years in management consultancy and recruitment before returning to the UK with his French wife to work his way steadily through the ranks in the Franchised Motor Industry to become Managing Director of a successful local multi-branch and multi-franchise dealership.

Madiana started her career in France before coming back to live in the UK where she has, with Paul, brought up their two sons. She keeps in contact with her roots with regular trips back to France visiting relatives and managing the couple’s property interests on the continent.

French television was a pre-requisite of the couple’s move back to the UK in the early ‘90s and it is fair to say that when time permits it is usually TF1 that wins over BBC! This enables a permanent link to the ever-changing French linguistic culture and business environment.

Boasting a BA Joint Honours Degree in Modern Foreign Languages, Gemma heads up the Spanish section of translationexpert.co.uk. Studying first at the University of Madrid, Gemma then worked for a time in France prior to starting up a successful language school back home in the UK and has introduced many pupils to the delights of learning a foreign tongue.

Over time translationexpert.co.uk has had dealings in a variety of sectors including the automotive industry (both at retail and manufacturer level,) motor sport, recruitment, fine wines (including Champagne and Bordeaux,) marketing, business development, property acquisition and portfolio management, schools and public sector and the tourism and leisure industry.
